Barolo Grill’s trip to Italy
In 1995 owner Blair Taylor began taking his staff on an educational trip to Italy each year. The trip is a chance for the entire staff to experience and understand the food and wine of Italy firsthand. When you dine at Barolo Grill, the chefs have perfected their dishes under the advice of the best chefs in Italy, and your server has likely tasted the wine he recommends in the cantina with the winemaker!

Lasting approximately two weeks, the trip usually takes place in April. Plans for the 2009 trip are currently underway, and dates will be announced soon.

The trip includes stays in Piedmont, Tuscany, Umbria, The Marche and sometimes the Veneto, or even the far north province of Alto Adige.

In Piedmont, we stay in the town of Alba, with visits to the best Barolo and Barbaresco producers as well as the best restaurants in the region.
