We are so excited to welcome Massimo Duri, the fifth generation of Antico Broilo, a jewel of a small family winery in the tiny commune of Prepotto in the eastern hills of Friuli. Massimo and his father Giovanni only work with native varietals, to continue the history of what has always been planted on their family's land. Their small production wines are the result of organically-farmed old vines that are hand-harvested, followed by a low-intervention approach in the cellar. We will dive into all of the indigenous white and red varietals they produce, including a side-by-side of two vintages of their riserva bottling of Refosco dal Penduncolo. We hope you can join us for what is sure to be a memorable evening!
