We are so excited to welcome Lucrezia Carrega Malabaila, owner of Malabaila winery in the Roero, to the restaurant on Wednesday, October 15th. Lucrezia is the 65th generation of Malabaila; her family has farmed land in the hills of Roero since 1362! The modern wine production began in the 1980s, under her father, Corradino dal Pozzo Carrega Malabaila. In Roero, just north of Barolo and on the other side of the Tanaro River, the sandier soils make for incredibly vibrant, elegant wines. At the dinner, we'll feature a selection of sparkling, white, and red wines from local Piemontese varietals, showcasing the unique character of the Roero terroir.
