We are so excited to welcome winemaker Danilo Drocco from the iconic Nino Negri winery in Valtellina to the restaurant on Thursday, May 8th! We are planning to go to Valtellina on our upcoming Annual Staff Trip to Italy, and are excited to get a taste of the region beforehand! Valtellina is home to some of the most heroic viticulture of Nebbiolo; the terraced vineyards are on incredibly steep slopes that allow their local 'Chiavannasca' (aka Nebbiolo) to ripen and reflect all of the subtle differences of the terroir. Nino Negri has been making wines for over 100 years! We'll taste through a progression of their unique Alpine Nebbiolos in all their delicious forms, alongside a fantastic four course meal. We hope you'll join us for what is sure to be a memorable evening!
